We design and manufacture benches for measuring the parameters of brushless motors and propulsion sets. The ready-made Uragan model — or a design built for your task.

Why you can trust us with measurement
The benches are not a side product but the result of our own development work. We designed and built them ourselves and use them daily at our production site in Perm: acceptance, periodic and sample testing of MED motors runs through them, as does incoming inspection of purchased batches.
The reports with tables of thrust, current and rpm that you see on our motor pages were recorded on these very benches. You get equipment proven in daily use, not a one-off prototype.
The Uragan bench
A benchtop rig for propulsion sets drawing up to 110 A. Seven measurement channels, a Bluetooth link, in-house software and individual factory calibration of every unit.
Measured parameters
All channels run simultaneously and the data is written into a single test report.
| Parameter | Sensor | Range | Accuracy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Thrust | load cell + HX711 ADC | −15,000 … 25,000 g | ± 3 % |
| Torque | load cell + HX711 ADC | −4.5 … 4.5 N·m | ± 2 % |
| Motor rpm | optical sensor | 0 … 60,000 rpm | ± 100 rpm |
| Current (channel 1) | measuring shunt | 0 … 150 A | ± 1 % |
| Current (channel 2) | Hall sensor | 0 … 150 A | ± 2 % |
| Voltage at the ESC | ADC via divider | 0 … 60 V | ± 0,5 % |
| Winding temperature | non-contact IR MLX90614 | 0 … 230 °C | ± 5 °C |
From the measured data the software calculates power draw, specific thrust (g/W) and the motor’s KV rating.
Uragan technical specifications
| Supply voltage of the motor under test | 20 … 59 V |
| Maximum current of the motor under test | 110 A |
| Speed control | PWM 1100 … 1940 µs |
| Bench power supply | 220 V, no more than 0.1 A |
| Dimensions (L×W×H) | 500 × 500 × 600 mm |
| Weight | 11 kg |
| Computer link | Bluetooth |
The current and voltage limits are set by the supplied ESC and can be changed to suit your task.
MTStand software
The bench ships with software of our own design: it controls the test modes, records telemetry, produces reports and keeps the test history.
The software is registered in the Rospatent Register of Computer Programs, certificate No. 2026664791, rights holder Motorno LLC. This is not a third-party product with uncertain support but our own software, which we develop and maintain.
- live sensor readings and charts;
- a test database linked to motor, propeller and batch;
- export of results to xlsx, csv and PDF;
- ready-made test reports to accompany a delivery.
Delivery set and operating conditions
In the box
- the Uragan test bench, assembled;
- a Hobbywing FlyFun HV V5 110A ESC;
- MTStand software;
- a quick-start guide;
- the bench passport with individual calibration coefficients.
Operating conditions
- temperature from 10 to 40 °C;
- relative humidity up to 95 % without condensation;
- no vibration and no electrically conductive dust;
- the manufacturer warrants the bench when these conditions are met.
Every bench goes through factory calibration — the conversion coefficients are measured for that specific unit and recorded in its passport.
A bench for your task
If the ready-made model does not cover your ranges, we develop a bench individually.
Requirements analysis
We go through your technical conditions: which motors and propellers you test, which parameters to record and to what accuracy.
Bench design
We produce a design to your specifications and agree it before manufacturing starts.
Manufacturing and calibration
We build the bench and carry out factory calibration of the measurement channels.
Acceptance and handover
We check the bench before handover — you receive equipment with verified characteristics, configured software and a passport.
Let’s discuss your task
Tell us which motors you test and which parameters you need to measure — we will propose a bench configuration and estimate the timeline. We reply within one business day.
